In my experience there are ONLY 2 ways to deal with a break-up.
One is internal, the other is external.
The internal one is about self-improvement.
First, be thankful. A break-up means you no longer bet on each other to be a net positive in each other’s lives.
Be thankful for the new brighter horizons expecting you.
And now that you have all of this time and emotional bandwidth freed up, how will you use it?
Will you get in better shape…
Improve your style…
Do something to advance your career or start a side hustle…
Anything that will get you on that ARC of becoming the man you want.
It’s not even about what women want.
It’s about what you want out of your life and working to achieve it.
As to the external way to deal with a break-up:
The fastest way to forget something is to replace it.
If you close yourself to the outer world, you’ll find yourself overthinking and ruminating about the past, what it could’ve been…
So instead get active ASAP.
One weekend of “mourning” is the max.
Humans are social creatures so it’s not good to isolate yourself.
Hit up that old friend…
Meet new women…
Attack life.
