I remember my first crush like it was yesterday.
Jackie Nichols.
First grade.
I was infatuated…
OBSESSED.
My behavior wasn’t rational at all.
It was like this caveman had come out and got fixated on Jackie.
I’d send her notes in class.
Try talking to her.
I even bought her a flower once and asked her to walk home together after school.
(Being just 7 years old meant automatic rejection of course.)
Looking back…
What got me so attracted to Jackie was that she seemed blasé about everything.
No matter what happened, she always remained unfazed.
She must’ve had some badass parents to teach her that 😂
Her ability to always be unfazed and unimpressed is what got all of us first-graders DROOLING.
Interestingly enough…
You can replicate this same behavior as a man…
And make girls chase you with that same irrational, almost primitive desire.
