Hey man,
It’s time for edition numero 45 of Ask Christian Anything.
As a reminder…
If you’ve got a question, just reply to this email and ask away!
Make sure to give me some context so I can help you as much as I can.
As usual, we have some interesting stuff to cover.
So make yourself a cup of coffee or tea and take your time for today’s agenda:
Let’s get cracking with #1:
===
How can I know if a girl’s interest is for real, or if she’s stringing me along?
===
Test her.
See how she reacts when you ask her out.
Does she dodge it?
Give an excuse?
Completely ignore it?
If she does it once it’s fine, some girls like playing hard to get and never agree the first time you ask them.
But if she does it 2 or even 3 times…
She’s a time-waster.
Next.
Onto question #2:
===
This girl wants to have a FaceTime call before our first date. How do I not mess it up?
===
Just have a normal conversation.
“Hey how’s your day”
“What you’ve been up to”
Ask her about herself…
Some small talk, jokes, perhaps a flirty comment if there’s a moment.
I like thinking of FaceTime calls as a vibe check.
They’re a teaser for what she’s gonna be like on the date.
So keep it light-hearted.
Share what you’ve been up to, too, ask her what she likes to do in her spare time, just basic get-to-know-you questions.
Keep it simple.
Now time for the last one #3:
===
How to follow up when she didn’t reply to my last message
===
Super simple.
First thing to ask yourself is does your text warrant a reply?
If yes, just address it.
For example if she didn’t reply when you asked around what time you should meet up and it’s supposed to happen that same day or the day after…
You can certainly send:
“^^”
“…?”
“Just don’t be late haha”
“I think you forgot to press send 😆”
If on the other hand your text didn’t require a reply, just start a new convo.
If you wrote “what’s up” and she’s not saying anything, don’t send the same thing again.
Think about sending something more engaging, funny, and that can prompt a reply.
My personal rule is to never text more than 3 times in a row.
Three being my absolute max, dependent on circumstances with the girl.
99% of the time if I try to start a conversation 2 times in a row and nothing happens, I forget about her and focus on the next one.
More texting tips here.
Alright, that’s it for AMA #45.
Until next time.
Rock and Roll,
Christian
